STORY TIME…
I want to Share an incident that happened right in my backyard. This story reminded me of Mike and I also got a wisdomic message from it.
My 9 year old daughter reminded me of a sunny day. We were planning to eat supper with a chicken 🐓 we bought from the market☺️. So, my sister was asked to kill it. We all went out to the backyard to watch. She severed the head with a sharp knife, put the body in a plastic basin and got the already boiled water to add to the basin with the chicken in it. 😹
Just as the water touched the body of the chicken, it jumped out and began to run without a head😳. This marvelled everyone especially the kids. They chased after it and caught it 😃.
Then, she asked me why the chicken was able to run around without it’s head. I thought about it for a while, and Mike the headless Chicken came to mind. The Message
How many people have been running around in life without a head. In marriage, the man’s head is God Almighty, the woman’s head is her husband. In the Circular, Religious and Social world , we have heads in form of authorities. These have the power to give orders or make decisions : the power or right to direct or control someone or something.
Authority helps to produce efficiency, predictability, and accountability. The truth remains that You could go about life without a head, but not for long.
Let’s think together;🤔
What might happen if there were no authority?
Think of all the rules you follow every day. Then think about all the people in authority who sometimes tell you what to do.
Think about this also; there can not be A husband without a supreme Head (Almighty God), and a wife without a Husband (Head).
What would happen if there were no rules and no people in authority? 🤔What would happen if some people started causing trouble?😱 What if jobs didn’t get done that had to be done?😨 Who would settle arguments or protect people’s rights?🤷 Who would run the government, That is if there’s any?
Like the Headless Chicken, an individual, a Family, a Country, a business and so on, cannot go far for long without a head.
